he Club has been invited back to Manukau City on Labour Day Monday, 25th October 2010, to run a demonstration Autocross event in conjunction with the start of Targa NZ.  Details have yet to be finalised, so watch this space................

The Go-Kart Night at Formula E Raceway, 36 Ascot Road, Mangere, AUCKLAND on Wednesday, 15th September is rapidly approaching. The Club is subsidising this event for FINANCIAL SCCNZ MEMBERS. Non-members of the Club may attend and run at the sole discretion of the Committee, but at the non-subsidised rate of $55. 

Please note also - ALL ENTRIES MUST BE PRE-PAID. No entries on the night!!!!!

This venue is one of the most advanced indoor go-kart operations in Auckland.  Drivers Briefing is at 6.30pm sharp (you MUST attend Drivers Briefing to run) and an Entry Form and event details are to be found under the "Upcoming Events" tab.

Northland Car Club will be holding their very popular Doctor's Hill hillclimb at..... Doctors Hill Road, Ruakaka, on Sunday, 3rd October.  Details (few that there are) are on their website at www.ncc.org.nz .  Entry is on the day and this is an SCCNZ Points Event. Contact Northland CC for more info.

The Club will be holding a Driver Training Day at Pukekohe Raceway on Saturday, 9th October 2010, commencing with a Drivers Briefing at 10.00am.  Professional tutors will be on hand to give you tips on technique and to ride with you to point out how to handle your vehicle, in a safe environment on the track.  This event is again, subsidised for financial SCCNZ members.  Non-members of SCCNZ are welcome to enter, but will not be subsidised.

Motorkhana - 17th October 2009

Here are some video highlights of the Motorkhana on October 17th, 2009. The weather was mostly kind to us, with the only rain occuring near the end of the second course. After the lunch break the sun came back.

27 drivers participated from the Sports Car Club, the Fraser owners club, and a number of friends who we hope to see join a club in the near future.

The results for the day are already available, and there are some photos in the gallery.

Labour Day 2008 Motorkhana

Here we have extracts from the Labour Day Motorkhana at Ellerslie Racecourse.

The day was absolutely fantastic, with the sun shining down on us all day. The 25 racers had a great time.
