Go Karts - Extreme Go Karts

A mid-Winter event to get your reactions back up to speed again - go karts at Extreme Go Karts, 82B Kerwyn Avenue, East Tamaki, AUCKLAND on Thursday, 22nd September 2022 at 7:00pm.

HOW TO GET TO RACEWAY:
For those drivers who have not been to this venue before, Kerwyn Avenue is in East Tamaki off SH1 South via Highbrook Drive, El Kobar Drive and Sir Woolf Fisher Drive. Check on Google Maps if you are unsure.


All drivers must arrive at the venue no later than 6.45pm in order to register with the operator and to attend the compulsory safety briefing. The Driver Safety Briefing will commence at 7.00pm sharp. Drivers who DO NOT attend the full safety briefing, or are late for it will not be allowed to take part and will forfeit their entry fee. This is a requirement of the venue operator.


WHAT TO BRING:
Apart from yourself, if you have one, please bring with you and wear a safety helmet at all times when on the circuit. The venue operator can provide helmets if you do not have access to them yourself. Please ensure any loose hair is tied up, no baggy clothing and closed shoes are worn.


WHAT TO DO ONCE YOU ARRIVE AT VENUE:
All drivers must complete the Extreme Karts Waiver Form prior to running in the event. This form is in addition to the SCCNZ Application/Indemnity Form you will have already signed and sent to the Club to confirm your entry. The form will be available at the counter on site.
A briefing for all drivers will be held at the venue at 7.00pm. All drivers MUST attend.ON TRACK:
Drivers will be organised into two groups and each driver will have two 20 lap races. Points will be calculated based on the drivers finishing position.


FINALLY
This event is run with quite a tight time schedule – other groups of drivers may be running after us. In order that all drivers get a reasonable time on the track, please be ready to start when the briefing is completed. We will not be holding up the event for drivers who are late getting to trackside. Please remember there are other drivers on the circuit (as if you didn’t know) at the same time as you and they may be travelling a little faster than you. Please allow them to pass and do not impede their progress.
